• Space recruitment specialist EVONA is to open a second UK location in Spinningfields, Manchester. The new Manchester office will accommodate up to 10 new members of staff and provide a second hub in addition to Bristol to accommodate remote staff all over the UK.

Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) has launched internships for blind and partially sighted jobseekers to Get Set Progress. It has opened applications for three roles and has extended the programme to five other sight loss charities to create eight new roles. Partner organisations in the programme are British Blind Sport, My Sight Nottinghamshire, MySight York, Oxfordshire Association for the Blind and Sight Support West of England.

Trade Jobs App has launched to make working relationship between contractors and tradespeople ‘simple and more fluid’. In the app tradespeople can post their availability when they have a gap in their work schedule, review available jobs in their work area and receive notifications when new jobs are posted. Contractors can post jobs, view profiles of available tradespeople and get in touch to hire them.

Recruitment Entrepreneur, a private equity investor in recruitment businesses founded by James Caan CBE, has partnered with Will Pilling and James Hine to launch True Blue Recruitment in Bangkok. Pilling and Hine say they aim to build a brand that stands out as a leader in technology recruitment within Thailand. Hine has over 15 years of industry experience across the UK, Thai and South-East Asian recruitment markets. He will work to identify talented technology recruiters who want to grow their recruitment career by joining True Blue.
