The NRG Group acquires McGregor Consultants

A statement from NRG said the deal would pave the way for growth with planned expansion into new global territories and sectors for both companies.

Based in Aberdeen’s Golden Square, McGregor Consultants currently has a headcount of six, including founders Jo McGregor and Angie McGregor, who set up the company in 2006. They will retain a share in the business and remain as directors.

The NRG Group, which is headquartered in the Aberdeen suburb of Cults, is a family-owned business, comprising NRG Well Examination and NRG Well Management and was founded by chairman Andrew Mackay in 1988. The company has a team of 50 staff and contractors with clients in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South-East Asia and Latin America.
