Due in MBO for Camino Partners as one of founders leave

Two of recruiter Camino Partners’ original founders have completed a management buy-out of the company from the third member of the founding trio.

The MBO, led by Sachin Ruparelia and Matt Newman, sees Alan McBride, who has been a part-time chairman and most recently non-executive chairman, amicably exit the business, according to a statement released today (11 November).

Current non-exec director Bradley Placks will take up the position of chairman, the statement said.

“The successful MBO heralds the start of Camino 2.0,” the statement said. “This will see the business build on its legacy” in filling non-sales positions in recruitment firms.

Founded in 2012, the company is expanding its brand portfolio “to truly reflect the distinct services” it offers globally, Newman said in the statement.
