New owners and management at TEAM network

The Employment Agents Movement (TEAM) has new owners and leaders for the first time since the network was launched 25 years ago.

Founder Simon Garbett is stepping away from the network he launched and developed to retire. The new owners are Simon Bliss, who will chair the organisation, and Ian Nash, non-executive.

Bliss has been a TEAM member for nine years, as MD and major shareholder of Principal People before selling to the Juhler Group, a Scandinavian recruitment organisation.

Nash has held senior executive roles at Michael Page and Robert Walters. He is now chair and non-executive to a portfolio of recruitment organisations in the UK and around the world.

A TEAM statement said that the new owners have “exciting and ambitious plans” for the recruitment membership and support organisation.

Garbett will stay on as a consultant until “at least the end of 2021”, Bliss said.
