Competentia acquires APAC recruitment agency Dare

Global recruiting and workforce management specialist Competentia has acquired Dare, a professional recruitment and contract staffing agency.

The acquisition adds Singapore to Competentia’s list of global office locations, expanding the company’s footprint in the Asia Pacific region.

Originally established in Perth, Australia 30 years’ ago, Dare’s clients include blue-chip companies in the oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, renewables and manufacturing industries. 

Competentia was established in Norway in 1998, initially providing resources to the North Sea oil & gas industry, and the global company now has offices in Stavanger, Manchester, Paris, Qatar, Dubai, Calgary, Houston, Mozambique, Anchorage, Perth, and now Singapore.
