APPOINTMENTS: 26-30 OCTOBER 2020

This week’s appointments include: Davies, Multitask Personnel, Savannah Group, scarlettabbott

Davies, a specialist professional services and technology business serving the insurance markets, has appointed Emma Wedderburn as group chief HR officer. Currently group people director at Capita, Wedderburn also joins Davies’ group executive committee.

Before her time with Capita, she held various senior and international roles at Amec Foster Wheeler, and latterly Wood. She will take up her role in January 2021, reporting to Dan Saulter, Davies’ group CEO. 

• Specialist recruitment agency Multitask Personnel has appointed Michelle Laing as operations support manager. Reporting into managing director Claire Lee, Laing brings a range of experience within recruitment, talent attraction and HR to the newly created role, which has been designed to offer day-to-day support across the entire business.

• Executive search and interim management specialist Savannah Group has made two senior appointments. Paul Phillips joins as partner, interim management, business transformation, and Tim Shaw is appointed partner, industrial practice.

• Employee engagement agency scarlettabbott has appointed Leila McCausland and Alice King as project delivery managers. McCausland joins from executive search firm VMAGROUP, and King returns to the consultancy following her role as a project co-ordinator for The Soapy Group.

Managing director Jeremy Petty said: “We’ve seen a huge upsurge in requests for support around employee mental health and wellbeing, diversity & inclusion campaigns and remote onboarding as our clients find their feet in the new world of work.”
