Consilium Recruit helps Electroflight source engineering specialists

Midlands recruitment company Consilium Recruit has signed a two-year deal with pioneering technology specialist Electroflight to source specialists in the emerging battery-powered aerospace industry.

The Stratford-upon-Avon firm has started the recruitment drive for experts for the Cheltenham-based technology company despite the coronavirus lockdown.

Consilium is interviewing engineering candidates remotely, assessing capabilities and experience via video conferencing, a press statement said. “This means Electroflight has the right people ready to step in the office as soon as conditions allow, and in the meantime, they can work remotely from home,” said Steve Doyle, director at Consilium (pictured above at his desk, with Electroflight's Doug Campbell on the screen).

Last summer, Consilium was appointed as the official recruitment partner for Coventry’s UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC) research centre and earlier this year partnered with Birmingham firm Sprint Group to recruit 100 specialist engineers.
