Don’t mumble when you get into a recruitment rumble with the WWE

Whatcha gonna do when the WWE comes calling to fill a new role of communications co-ordinator for the UK?

That’s right, according to a post on LinkedIn, the wrestling entertainment behemoth responsible for the Survivor Series, Summer Slam, the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania is seeking a comms co-ordinator with at least three years’ experience in PR, publicity and media relations, preferably in a media/entertainment or sports environment.

The recruit must also have strong PR planning and measurement skills, experience working on major PR campaigns and working with celebrities and/or high-profile individuals. A Bachelor’s degree in PR, comunications, marketing or related field of study is preferred.

The successful applicant must also be willing and able to travel and work outside normal business hours as needed and keep abreast of WWE products and storylines, as well as entertainment, media and sports industry trends
