FINANCIALS: Empresaria Group reveals NFI rise despite decline in engineering division

International specialist staffing group Empresaria has seen net fee income growth of 6% year-on-year, according to interim results for H1 2019.

The results reveal a 15% decline in NFI for the group’s engineering division, which reported challenging market conditions and the ongoing impact from Brexit. However, this was offset by 55% NFI growth for its offshore recruitment services division in India.

Empresaria CEO Rhona Driggs said: “We have remained focused on efforts to improve organic growth across the group and as a result our NFI continues to show improvement.

“Our sector alignment and continued investment in best in class technology, along with recent actions taken in underperforming businesses, means that we are well placed to continue to drive organic NFI growth and to improve profitability.”
