Construction firm Dowds Group creates jobs in Northern Ireland

A County Antrim firm is set to create 68 new jobs over the next two years.

Belfast Live reports Ballymoney-based mechanical, electrical, facilities management and build contractor Dowds Group has already begun recruitment for the roles, which will include a number of managerial posts, as well as operatives and engineers.

Regional development agency Invest NI has offered Dowds Group an employment grant of £442k to support the 68 jobs.

The company is also creating 40 new apprenticeship posts.
