• Professional services recruiter Ambition has appointed Ben Stevenson as director of business development, marketing & communications.

• Global executive search firm Amrop welcomes Patrick Ference, managing partner of Amrop Industrial Search in the US, and Andrew Woodburn, managing director of Amrop Woodburn Mann in South Africa, to its executive board as board members.

• PA and secretarial specialist recruiter Bain and Gray has appointed Tray Durrant as executive director.

• Specialist construction & property recruiter Building Careers UK has expanded its property team with the appointment of Sam Mackie. The North West-based company has appointed Mackie to its Liverpool city centre team, where he will focus on architectural appointments in the North-West.

• Recruitment process outsourcing provider Cielo has appointed Karla Boddy as client services director.

• On-demand staffing platform Coople has appointed former Recruitment & Employment Confederation CEO Kevin Green as strategic adviser.

• Law firm JMW Solicitors welcomes Emma James, who joins as a senior associate from commercial law firm Brabners. James has more than eight years’ experience advising businesses on recruitment and employment law issues. She follows Paul Chamberlain, who also left Brabners in March this year, joining JMW as head of employment. The pair now work alongside recruitment industry legal expert, partner Simon Bloch.

Kennedy Executive Search, a global network of privately owned executive search boutiques, has appointed Markus Unterberger as practice leader financial services.

• International executive search firm Pedersen & Partners managing partner and founder Poul Pedersen has taken on the role of executive chairman, with former deputy managing partner Gary Williams appointed CEO.

• Hospitality staffing app Rota has appointed Terry Payne as head of partnership sales at its head office in London.
