Ewart takes the reins of Taranata Group following acquisition of Hanya

Martin Ewart, founder of consulting business Hanya Partners, is taking on the role of CEO at Edinburgh-based Taranata Group.

Following Taranata’s acquisition of Hanya Partners, a statement released this morning reveals Ewart’s new role replaces the executive chairman role of Taranata Group founder Paul Atkinson, who moves to non-executive group chair.

Ewart (pictured) has been chairman of Taranata Group firm Head Resourcing since 2014, leading the business through significant growth, and most recently the formation of the Taranata Group. He will remain chair of Head Resourcing while taking on his new group CEO role.

Hanya Partners, started by Ewart in 2014, has offices in Edinburgh and London, employing three people and supported by around 30 associates who provide specialist help depending on the needs of the individual clients. Hanya’s expertise covers sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, outsourcing, IT strategy, IT performance improvement and procurement.

Clients that work with Hanya Partners and its associates include major UK banks, public sector organisations and utilities companies.

The Taranata Group comprises Head Resourcing, Head Medical, Change Recruitment, Rawmarsh and now Hanya Partners. The group’s services range from executive search and selection, to volume sourcing of call centre teams, specialist search in IT, digital, construction, medical and financial sectors, and now business transformation.
