Mobile bank Monzo to create 300+ jobs in Cardiff

Wales’ financial sector is to be boosted by more than 300 new jobs as a London challenger bank is to expand its operations to the Welsh capital.

Sky News reports digital bank Monzo is to create 312 jobs over the next four years at its Cardiff-based customer support centre backed by £950k in funding from the Welsh government.

The mobile bank currently employs around 50 in its Cardiff base.
