500 jobs set for take off at Farnborough Airport

Around 500 jobs are due to be created at a new business jet aircraft service centre in Hampshire.

The BBC reports Rushmoor Borough Council has given the green light to aerospace firm Gulfstream have been for the purpose-built centre at TAG Farnborough Airport.

Construction is expected to start this April, with workshops and a hangar for 13 jets anticipated to open by June the following year.

Among the new roles recruited for the new centre will be 350 engineers and 150 office staff.
