€500k investment in firm creates technology jobs in Ireland

Irish firm EMR is on a recruitment drive following a €500k (£439k) investment in the firm.

The Irish Times reports the Meath-based automated communications company is to increase its workforce to 50.

EMR, which designs and builds telemetry networks and management systems for energy suppliers and water companies, recently moved to Dunboyne Business Park to accommodate its growing headcount.

Roles include apprentice electricians, mechatronic, electrical, automation engineers and project management roles, and these will be filled over the next year.
