FINANCIALS: Korn Ferry sees rise in fee revenue

Global executive search firm Korn Ferry has seen fee revenue rise 16% on the same period last year, according to results for the first quarter of their financial year.

The results, released late last week, reveal fee revenue of $465.6m (£359.3m) in a quarter in which the group rebranded all of its brands under the Korn Ferry label. This saw the group incur a charge of $106.6m related to trade names from previous acquisitions the group will no longer be using, resulting in an operating loss of $55.1m.

Elaborating on this further, CEO Gary Burnison said: “As disclosed last quarter, we are sunsetting our legacy logos and migrating to one unified brand – Korn Ferry. Over the next 15 months, we will continue to move our organisation towards an industry, solution and geographic orientation to capture the substantial opportunity we have as an organisational consulting firm.”
