Jobseeker takes Twitter by storm to find work

An enterprising young jobseeker has taken to Twitter to try and land a job.
The Metro reports the candidate in question – Jason Thompson – is seeking roles in London. Using the hashtag #FindJasonAJob, Jason asked for retweets to his initial tweet, which reads from his @JasonRiver1999 Twitter handle:
“My name is Jason Thompson, I am 19 years old and I live in Margate, Kent, United Kingdom. I am currently looking for a job. I have experience in Business Admin but I willing to try any job. I would love to work in London.”
It appears Jason’s request has not gone unheard having amassed thousands of retweets so far. He has also been tweeted lots of advice from fellow Twitterati, such as @dook37_domini: ‘All the best, but have you considered freelance work - but understand building up a network from scratch is no easy task.’
And @1GoonerDan suggests he’d be better off registering his CV: ‘Maybe I am being harsh. I would think #JasonFindAJob would be more appealing to employers by registering your CV & searching on sites such as jobsite, monster, totaljobs etc or registering with recruitment agencies.’
However, good news may be on the horizon for our jobseeker. @Garli_Lauri says: ‘Hi Jason. I've followed you. If I hear of vacancies in town I’ll let you know. Good for you for taking the initiative. Good luck!’
And even more encouraging signs came from @scribblercards: ‘Hi Jason, we're currently looking for London staff. Please drop your email to [email protected] Thanks :)’
So if you’re out there in Twitterland, Jason, let us know how you’re getting on!
