• The Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) has appointed Roxanne Taylor, previously chief marketing & communications officer at Accenture, to its board as an independent director.

• Oxfordshire-based recruiter Allen Associates has promoted Hannah Bush from recruitment consultant to divisional manager in recognition of her work expanding the firm’s temporary division.

Julia Jeyes, director and owner of Grafton Banks Finance, has been appointed to the Association of Recruitment Consultancies’ (ARC) committee.

• Global talent mapping and pipelining specialist Armstrong Craven welcomes Helen Coult as its new regional director Asia Pacific.

• London-based boutique executive search firm Audeliss has appointed Elaine Pearson as delivery consultant. Pearson is the former director of HR at the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and more recently membership relationship manager at the Corporate Research Forum.

• Multi-sector recruiter Berry Recruitment Group (BRG) has appointed Tony Lock as its operations manager in Kent. Lock heads a team of nine at BRG’s offices in Pudding Lane, Maidstone.

• Health and social care recruiter Carestaff Solutions welcomes Zaph Memon as managing director. Memon’s previous experience within the healthcare sector includes roles at Provide Medical as managing director and TXM Healthcare, where he was commercial director.

Jamie Harris joins Hale-based recruiter Cream Soda as it launches a new marketing communications division recruiting for PR, social and marcomms roles.

Eames Consulting Group has promoted Curtis Browning from consultant to senior consultant. Browning works in the global banking, insurance and financial services recruiter’s actuarial team, focusing on the non-life insurance market.

• Global executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has appointed Rafael Paravicini and Anne Rockey as partners in Zurich and Chicago respectively.

The firm has also appointed Jeffrey Mollica, Doug Orr, Jennifer Wilson and Cheryl Chen principals in Philadelphia, Houston, Dallas and Shanghai respectively. In a separate announcement the group also welcomed Doug Orr as a principal in Houston.

David Winch has joined search firm Miramar Global as managing director of Miramar Talent, its latest search product.

Following the announcement of its international merger in 2017, Miramar Global unveiled its new service offering Miramar Talent. As a result, the search firm has appointed David Winch, formerly of Juniper Networks and Nokia, as MD of the new department.

Miramar Talent extends Miramar’s executive search methodology to the layers below senior leadership, to now positively impact customers deeper in their organisational structures to support their ongoing transformations and growth. Winch is based in the firm’s London office.

• Global legal executive search and talent management firm Major, Lindsey and Africa (MLA) welcomes Evangelos Apostolou as an international in-house consultant. Based in London and Singapore, Apostolou will focus on recruiting in-house general counsels and providing advisory services to corporations across EMEA and APAC.

Jeff Campbell joins executive search firm Riviera Partners as director to expand its business in the South-East region of the US. Campbell founded and built Alpha Advisors, a boutique search firm that specialises in recruiting senior information technology and quantitative talent for financial services and technology clients around the globe.

Before Alpha Advisors, he led the technology and operations practice for the Fiderion Group, specialising in recruiting information technology professionals for financial services companies.

• Specialist SAP and IT recruiter Whitehall Resources has promoted Jonathan Atkinson to senior UK new business contracts manager. Atkinson joined Whitehall shortly after its inception in 2007 and is now responsible for the growth and delivery of SAP and Oracle contract resources across the UK & Ireland.

• Retail recruiter Zachary Daniels welcomes Rob Archer as a director. He joins from recruiter Michael Page, where he was regional director – human resources and head of retail.
