Capita 'close' to selling recruitment arm

Capita is in advanced talks about the sale of its recruitment division.

Earlier this year, the business process outsourcing provider announced it was streamlining after a “disappointing” performance in 2016.

Sky News reported yesterday that Capita has entered exclusive negotiations to sell Capita Specialist Recruitment to Endless, a specialist turnaround investor.

Sky adds that talks are understood to value Capita Specialist Recruitment at around £25m, according to those close to the sale process, handled by professional services firm BDO.

Sky further claims an announcement about the sale to Endless is likely in the coming weeks. Recruiter contacted both Capita and Endless for comment.

Capita said they would not be commenting, while Endless had not responded as of this morning.
