This week’s appointments include Harrier Human Capital, Crown Worldwide, PepsiCo, tml Partners and Oceans Group
• Logistics firm Crown Worldwide has appointed Curt Smith as head of its world mobility business Crown World Mobility.
Smith, who takes on the role of group vice-president, was previously with relocation services provider Cartus, where he was vice-president for client services and before that global account director.
• Jesper Petersen has left toy manufacturer Lego to join food and drinks company PepsiCo as its new vice-president for human resources for the UK.
Petersen, previously Lego’s vice-president and head of talent acquisition, joins Pepsi’s UK leadership team, taking responsibility for driving the UK people agenda and focusing on both attracting and retaining best talent.
• Executive search organisation Oceans Group, subsidiary of talent management business Harrier Human Capital, has launched a new executive HR practice.
Michael Semark, previously director, executive and permanent at HR recruitment specialist The Next Step has been appointed to lead the new practice. The firm adds that Semark will shortly be joined by a number of other HR specialists as the firm builds the practice.
• International senior marketing executive recruitment specialist tml Partners has appointed James Gilford as principal consultant.
Gilford joins from marketing specialist EMR, where he was a senior consultant.
