West Yorkshire-based Kirklees Council has launched a recruitment drive for 30 green-fingered new recruits.

West Yorkshire-based Kirklees Council has launched a recruitment drive for 30 green-fingered new recruits.

The Huddersfield Daily Examiner reports the council has advertised for 30 assistant gardeners to work on a temporary basis until 15 October.

The recruits will be paid between £8.20 to £8.50 and hour with duties including grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding, as well as litter picking and leaf clearance.
