Rapping recruiter Honey G is hanging on in there in this year’s TV reality competition The X Factor – but only just.

Honey G, the alter ego of Anna Georgette Gilford, managing director of recruitment firm ARG Search, and who was given her first job at IT recruiter InterQuest, last night suffered the ignominy of being in the bottom two in this latest round of the TV talent show. But fear not! After performing a mash-up of Missy Elliott’s hit Get Ur Freak On and Work It she was saved by the judges.

We’re not quite sure whether former boss at InterQuest’s Lloyd Moore’s recent about-face on G's chances have put the kybosh on her winning of the competition.

It was far more plain sailing for recruitment’s other reality TV talent show contestant with recruiter and professional search agent at IBM Trishna Thakrar avoiding the dreaded boardroom showdown in the latest edition of The Apprentice on the BBC last Thursday.
