FINANCIALS: Korn Ferry revenue up 47%
Global executive search firm Korn Ferry has seen year-on-year annual revenue increase 47% in Q4 2016, according to results for the year-end 30 April 2016.
The group’s results, published late in a statement yesterday, reveal fourth quarter and annual fee revenue of $399.9m (£283m), up 47% on the corresponding period of 2015 and $1.3bn revenue for the full year.
The statement adds the group has continued to make “significant” progress on its Hay Group integration, adding it incurred minimal restructuring costs, including real estate co-location, with Q4 results benefitting from Q3 restructuring and integration. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) margin for the Hay Group part of the business came in at 5.6%, or 15.9% on an adjusted basis.
Group chief executive Gary Burnison said: “We are in the midst of creating a new firm – with 65% of our colleagues new to the organisation in the last three years, due to expansion and growth.
“Our advisory business, now bolstered by our Hay Group combination, has given us more reasons to engage with clients. Also, our recruiting businesses, executive search and Futurestep, have never been stronger than they were in the fourth quarter. We are indeed creating the pre-eminent organisational and people advisory firm,” Burnison added.
