Tech jobs marketplace Hired has secured US$40m (£27.5m) in funding, according to financial media company Bloomberg.

Tech jobs marketplace Hired has secured US$40m (£27.5m) in funding, according to financial media company Bloomberg.

The funding round was led by Lumia Capital, with participation from Comcast Ventures, Crosslink Capital, Sierra Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank.

Hired reportedly plans to expand into more cities and industries, which may include healthcare and law.
