Executive search firm Norman Broadbent has announced that Scanes Bentley, previously the company’s non-executive chairman, has been appointed executive chairman.

The appointment comes in the wake of board director and chief executive Sue O’Brien resigning, which was effective from yesterday. She will continue to work for the company until the end of August.

Bentley had recently replaced former chairman and director Pierce Casey, who retired on 30 June after five years in the role.

The firm is based in London.
