Global executive search firm Norrie Johnston Recruitment has appointed Graham Oates as chief executive.

Oates takes over from founder and current CEO Norrie Johnston from 1 July, who will become chairman.

The move coincides with Oates, a former managing partner at professional services firm KPMG where he had a track record of building companies, doubling his share in the company to 20%.

In his new role Oates will focus on developing Norrie Johnston Recruitment’s business with major blue-chip clients and expanding its capabilities in international markets.
