Intrafish Media’s Bakke leaves to set up start-up recruitment agency

Intrafish commercial director Thomas Bakke is leaving the company to launch a recruitment-start up. 

According to a statement by Intrafish, the new agency will specifically target the seafood industry.

Bakke will leave at the end of July after seven years’ work as commercial director for Intrafish Media, which provides information on seafood-fish farming and the fishing industry worldwide. 

He and partner Jorunn Svidal will assist seafood companies in the recruitment of senior and middle managers in fisheries, aquaculture and supply sectors.

The new agency formally launches in August, at the AquaNor trade show in Trondheim, Norway.

As for the new company name, Svidal told Recruiter: “Our company is currently being registered and the name and other information will not be official until Friday [26 June] this week.”
