Specialist energy recruitment firm Eximius Energy has launched a nuclear practice to serve the UK and Europe.

Structured as three defined business units – power generation, decommissioning and nuclear technologies – the practice will source technical talent for a variety of nuclear projects in an attempt to meet increasing demand for specialist workers in the expanding nuclear sector.

Ben Smith has been appointed team leader of the new practice. He has nine years’ experience in the nuclear recruitment industry, and holds SC (security check) level security clearance.

According to LinkedIn, Smith moved from engineering specialist recruiter CBSbutler, where he held the position of senior consultant for nuclear power and energy for just over two years. He is based in London.
