Search firm DHR International has reached agreement over the acquisition of certain assets from global executive search firm CTPartners.

In a statement released this week, DHR International said it estimates its transaction with CTPartners will add 17 offices and 250 employees worldwide to the group.

Earlier this week CTPartners revealed it may be forced to cease operations entirely or seek bankruptcy protection having failed to reach agreement for the sale of the company as a whole to DHR International.

Initial talks between DHR International and CTPartners began in January 2015 and in May CTPartners announced it had entered into exclusive negotiations with the search firm.
