Global recruitment network NPAworldwide’s latest business barometer survey shows a confidence in growth potential over the next six months for contingent businesses.

The survey of recruitment business owners showed that 96% were forecasting similar or improved market conditions in the next six months.

The majority (60%) of respondents were from North America.

Of the global recruiters who responded, 53% said business had improved in the last 180 days.

In a statement, NPAworldwide president Dave Nerz said: “Our member-owners called out manufacturing and the accounting and finance vertical markets as particularly strong at this time.”

It is unclear how many business owners were surveyed but the network has about 500 member offices across six continents.
