US-listed global executive search firm CTPartners’ chief operating officer David Nocifora has been appointed chief executive, rather than Sylvain Dhenin as previously announced.

As Recruiter previously reported, chairman and CEO Brian Sullivan was to step down immediately following the filing of the company’s annual report, expected today US time, and was to be replaced by Dhenin.

In a statement posted to the company’s website, CTPartners chairman Michael Feiner said: “As we further evaluated our immediate needs in the chief executive officer position, it became more apparent that David’s operating experience, and familiarity with the company’s operations, will serve our clients, employees and shareholders well. Sylvain will now be able to focus entirely on servicing customers and building our business.”

Dhenin is to remain with CTPartners as head of European, Middle East and Asia Pacific operations.

Nocifora has held executive level positions within the company since 1994, including as chief financial officer.

The company also announced it has closed a round of fundraising with a “publicly traded insurance company and an affiliate thereof” to help pay down other debt.
