Recruiter’s Investing in Talent Awards 2015 have officially been launched, following the success of the inaugural awards last year.

“This set of awards clearly resonated with our readers when we launched them last year, and we are delighted to set their second year in motion now,” said Recruiter editor DeeDee Doke.

The awards recognise recruitment businesses and individuals demonstrating a passion for people. They also showcase recruitment businesses as employers of choice and recruitment as a rewarding career.

Doke continued: “Recruitment is a high-quality profession to work in, with many fine organisations putting talent first at the top of their investment agendas. The Investing in Talent Awards are a vehicle to demonstrate to candidates for roles in your own business, your clients and the world at large that you value your staff – and that recruitment is a rewarding profession to aspire to and stay in. It's great to be a recruiter!”

Recruitment businesses will also have the opportunity to demonstrate through the Investing in Talent Awards that they also take seriously their professional responsibility to build the UK economy through helping to create an employable workforce.

The Best Employability Strategy Award is designed to recognise businesses that use their expertise to support employability for any particular population or build skills in existing workforces.

New categories for this year include Best Recruitment Company to Work For: small (less than 50 employees); medium (less than 100 employees); and large (more than 100 employees).

The awards are now open for entry, with an early bird deadline of 15 April.

Winners will be announced at a lunchtime event at The Brewery, London on 17 September.
