Fri, 6 Mar 2015US-listed Chinese integrated HR services provider 51job has seen revenue from online recruitment services increase 10.3% in the three months to 31 December 2014 to RMB319.1m (£33.5m), compared to the same period in 2013.

The firm’s Q4 and full-year 2014 financial results, released yesterday [5 March], show online recruitment services accounted for more than half of all revenue in the quarter (RMB528.6m) with print advertising revenue and “other human resource related revenue” accounting for the remainder. Total revenue for Q4 was up 11.9% year-on-year.

Gross profit for the quarter increased 12.6% to RMB363.9m year-on-year.

The company attributed the growth to an increase in the number of employers using the service, which was partially offset by a decrease in average revenue per employer and the implementation of a 6% VAT charge effective 1 June 2014.

Total revenue over the whole year increased 13.2% to RMB1,897.3m.

In publishing the financial results, the company also announced the departure of Jones Haijun Yu, vice president of sales, who is said to be leaving “to pursue other interests”.
