Exec search firm Barracuda hires Jones as first CEO

Retail sector executive search firm Barracuda has appointed Keith Jones as its first ever chief executive, effective 1 April.

His appointment reflects the company’s growth ambitions.
In a statement released this morning [10 March], chairman Peter Jones said: “After more than 10 years of continued growth the board have decided it is time to appoint new leadership for the next, exciting phase. Keith brings a wealth of experience from the retail sector and will help drive our performance to new heights.”
According to the statement, Keith Jones has over 30 years’ experience in international retail, including chief executive roles for Australia-based management consultancy ThinkSmart and retailer JJB Sports.
He remains an executive director for ThinkSmart.
Barracuda has, since its inception in 2004, been managed by founding directors Jamie Zuppinger and Justin Linger, alongside Peter Jones.
