Thu, 26 Feb 2015 The US is the most popular destination for global citizens who would be willing to move abroad to work, according to a report ‘Decoding Global Talent’, prepared by management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG), TJG (Totaljobs Group) and The Network.

The UK is the second most popular, with Canada in third place, reflecting the desirability of English-speaking countries as work destinations, the report revealed. At the same time, UK and US citizens are among the most reluctant to move abroad, said BCG director Nick South.

South spoke this morning [26 February] at a breakfast event on talent mobility, hosted by totaljobs.com.

The populations most keen to move abroad to work are from France, Jamaica, The Netherlands, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and the UAE, South said, with more than 90% of workers willing to relocate.

The event was aimed at in-house recruiters.
