Q4 profits up at Manpower Group

Global staffing group Manpower has posted Q4 net earnings of US$117.2m (£77.87m), up from $101.2m for Q4 2013.

The group’s full-year results, released at the same time, reveal 2014 profits of $427.6m (£283.9m), compared to $288m (£191.65m) in 2013.
Revenues for the fourth quarter totalled $5.1bn, down from $5.2bn in Q4 2013, while US revenues increased from $750.6m in Q4 2013 to $789.5m in the final quarter of 2014.
However, revenues dropped in the group’s American operations outside the US (to $383m Q4 2014 from $387.1m Q4 2013), as well as in both Northern ($1,501.8m Q4 2014 from Q4 2013 $1,521.6m) and Southern Europe (to $1,267.9m Q4 2014 from $1,398.4m Q4 2013).
