The jobs are being created due to the opening of a new blade manufacturing facility on the island. The company plans to use its own career site, external recruitment agencies and an ‘awareness’ event to fill the roles.

MHI Vestas Offshore Wind and Isle of Wight Council will run an awareness event about the roles this week.

As well as the awareness day, a Vestas spokesperson told Recruiter the firm is to use an external recruitment agency and career site to fill the roles.

Global industrial staffing specialist Manpower is working with the firm to recruit the roles.
