St Albans-based Berry Recruitment Group (BRG) has appointed Michelle Stewart to its board.

She joined the firm in 2011 when her Portsmouth-based multi-sector agency Wild Recruitment was acquired by BRG.

Wild Recruitment was retained as a brand, with Stewart leading it and extending its reach to Poole and Milton Keynes.

She also took on responsibility for BRG’s finance and senior recruitment division Antony Berry Associates, and has overseen the integration of new BRG acquisitions Headway Recruitment and The Plus Team in London.

A statement from BRG said Stewart’s appointment was in recognition of her achievements.

Chairman Tony Berry said: “She has made such a positive impact on the whole company that it was completely natural for her to step up.”

He went on to say Stewart would help Berry to grow “both organically and through acquisition within commercial recruitment”.
