TNT looks to tap into City Link talent pool

Over the Christmas period, City Link entered administration, making 2,356 workers redundant as a result.

A TNT spokesperson told Recruiter the firm is now assessing its locations to see where demand is most acute.

He added: “We have more than 100 vacancies across the whole spectrum of the business – that’s drivers, mail operatives, other backroom staff and some customer-facing staff vacancies as well.”

NHS Trust plans to cut jobs and agency staff

The BBC reports today [30 April 2025] that the North-West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is planning job cuts, as well as cutting its expenditure on bank and agency staff.
