Third of employees keep open mind about manager’s reputation

One in three employees are prepared to keep an open mind about a line manager’s reputation when looking for a new job, according to HR services group Penna.

One in three employees are prepared to keep an open mind about a line manager’s reputation when looking for a new job, according to HR services group Penna.

The poll of 2,000 employees found one third (32%) prefer to make their own judgments about a manager’s reputation.

Meanwhile, 20% said they would not take a job if a manager had a bad reputation, while 19% would take a post if they knew the manager had a good reputation.
