Mon, 26 Jan 2015Professional services firm EY is to hold a series of networking events aimed at helping ex-military personnel gain employment.

Last week, EY signed up to the Armed Forces Military Covenant, which commits the firm to supporting the employment of former military personnel and their families, in addition to supporting employees who choose to become members of the Reserve Forces.

EY says it will be recruiting into all its service lines, as part of “ambitious” growth plans, but expects most of the ex-military personnel to enter its advisory practice. New joiners will be recruited as experienced hires, rather than through the firm’s graduate programme, but the role, level of entry and additional training needs will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

An EY spokesperson told Recruiter the professional services firm is to hold a series of networking events for ex-military personnel.
