BLG acquires HealthyCareers

Frankfurt-based executive search consultancy BLG Healthcare Executive Search has acquired Amsterdam-based executive search firm HealthyCareers for an undisclosed sum.

Frankfurt-based executive search consultancy BLG Healthcare Executive Search has acquired Amsterdam-based executive search firm HealthyCareers for an undisclosed sum.

BLG works in the fields of medical device & diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and biotech.

According to a BLG statement, the two companies share “the same sector focus”.
HealthyCareers works with large corporations and smaller high-growth businesses across Benelux [Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg].

In the statement, BLG co-founder and managing partner Thomas Lieb said: “The acquisition is consistent with our strategy of becoming one of the top five healthcare executive search businesses in Europe.”

He added that HealthyCareers’ experience in Benelux complemented BLG’s operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

HealthyCareers founder Hans Tellier is leaving the business to “focus on new projects”.
