Banking giant Barclays is to open up its apprenticeship programmes to the over 50s.
A bank spokesperson told Recruiter the move forms part of Barclays’ commitment to improving diversity across its whole organisation regardless of disability, age, gender and sexual orientation.
The spokesperson added: “The area we are going to be having a big push on in the coming year is over 50s, so people returning to the workforce and wanting a late career change in direction offering apprenticeships.”
