A man who hand-delivered his CV with several pumpkins to a potential employer has been given an interview as a result of his Halloween creativity.
Fri, 31 Oct 2014A man who hand-delivered his CV with several pumpkins to a potential employer has been given an interview as a result of his Halloween creativity.

Online recruiter InAutomotive.com said it was impressed by the applicant’s initiative.

The company said the office doorbell rang and they found someone had left four pumpkins by the door with their CV placed among them.

In true Halloween fashion, the applicant had carved the pumpkins, but rather than faces, there were four words – ‘Give me a job’.

In fairness to the applicant’s initiative, the company said they we're interviewing him today, on Halloween, for a creative marketing position.

The applicant said he had applied to the company before, but failed to get his application acknowledged.

His present employer also recognised his initiative, he said. He had applied for the job during a Christmas period and so split his CV into sections and attached it to a tree as if they were decorations.
