Wed, 1 Oct 2014A person posing as a recruiter in the Philippines is the subject of a police search after two girls alleged the job they were set up with led to them being imprisoned and raped.

Philippine publication the Sun Star reported the girls, aged 12 and 9, have been taken into care by City Social Welfare and Development after they escaped their alleged captor.

According to a police report, the children were hired by a foreigner as household workers, and offered a large salary in the house of an Australian male.

However, when they arrived at the house, they were ordered by the ‘recruiter’ to bathe and then pose naked for a camera.

They were both then allegedly sexually molested.

They claimed they were imprisoned in the house for a week and, at times, bound in chairs, before managing to escape.

Police have learned the ‘recruiter’ was the Australian’s live-in partner but are still looking for both people.
