Saudi Arabia’s Labour Ministry yesterday [21 September] opened the first female-only recruitment office to ensure privacy for women, Arab News reports.

The office is within the ministry’s East Riyadh office and recruits women for domestic help.
Director general of the office Abdullah Al-Olayan was quoted as saying it was “to ensure privacy for businesswomen and other females who have fulfilled recruitment conditions” and that the ministry planned to open other such offices.
