NHS trust creates tool for online recruitment

The University College London Hospitals Trust has created a recruitment tool to reduce the administration burden of the application process and improve the quality of staff it hires.

Developed in partnership with behaviour change specialist the Chemistry Group, the online candidate assessment tool is underpinned by the trust’s values, which include safety, kindness, teamwork and improvement.

The tool ensures only those candidates with qualities and attributes aligned with these values reach the interview stage.
 
Candidates are also asked ‘psychologically driven’ questions based on everyday hospital scenarios.
