World’s worst jobs - how does your job compare?

But spare a thought for Thomas Curwen, a scientist at Dulux, who is unlikely to use this as a figure of speech because it represents what he actually does for a living.

According to an article on the world’s worst jobs in the Daily Mirror, Curwen checks how the colour of matt and emulsion changes over time on walls and under microscopes.

Other worst jobs featured in the article include a pet food taster, an armpit sniffer, a sewer diver and a crocodile trainer. Simon Allison, Marks & Spencer’s dog and cat cuisine taster, told the Daily Mirror: “I love my job, but draw the line at swallowing.” Mmm, nice…
