Stephan Thoma has left his role as global director of learning and development at Google to lead the talent development team at executive search and development specialist European Leaders.

During his time at Google, Thoma led the team that developed the company’s talent and was the only member of the leadership team based outside of the US. Before joining Google he held senior learning and development roles with Cisco, NTL, GE and 3Com.

His appointment at European Leaders is part of the firm’s expansion, which includes a new base in Germany.
