London-based financial services firm Financial Transparency Utility (FinTrU) is to create 80 new jobs in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

FinTrU, which provides outsourced financial regulatory processes to investment banks and other financial institutions, is creating a centre of excellence in Belfast to support its growth plans.
The announcement was made by enterprise, trade and investment minister Arlene Foster and employment and learning minister Dr Stephen Farry on behalf of Invest Northern Ireland.
Invest NI has offered more than £480k of support for the new jobs and almost £120k through its Skills Growth Programme. The Department of Employment and Learning has offered £240k through its Assured Skills Programme.
Darragh McCarthy, FinTru’s chief executive, said: “We’re confident that we will find the calibre of staff we require in Northern Ireland to help us exploit the market opportunities. We plan to begin recruiting immediately and have all the positions in place by 2016.”
